The New Site Has Launched!

Here it is, the new site! I’m very excited to launch this new version of GaryMelvin.com. I owe many, many thanks to Cameron Mizell for all his help with my transition to WordPress. I also want to thank photographer Rob Mizell for shooting most of the photos you see on this site, including the header above (yup, they are brothers — basically, when I have something I need done, I go to a Mizell).
You might have noticed that this new version includes a blog (you’re currently reading a post — neat-o!). The current content has been moved over from my old Blogger page, and I will update it with new content on a regular basis. Feel free to subscribe to my blog via RSS or email.
So, poke around a bit! There is a lot to do here, and please feel free to contact me with comments, inquiries, issues, or just to say “hi!”

I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Gary for the past 4 years as the FOH engineer. His innovative style and musical approach allowed me to effortlessly put the guitar where it was supposed to be in the mix. He is always open to new ideas as to how we could always make it better. I can’t wait to hear the next record, due to the fact that he is a constantly evolving artist and is willing to go the extra mile to achieve something really kool— Well done, my friend—
